Start a faction or join one. Each faction gets a crest, a colour, a tag and ranks for members, plus a faction chat that follows you across servers.

Music & DJ nights

Each location has its own soundtrack and some have a live DJ stream. The mixer gives music, DJ, video and effects separate volume sliders.

Fully animated couple scenes you control, with pace and positions in your hands. Both players have to opt in, and either can stop at any time.

Everything intimate needs both people to say yes. Blocks cover a whole account, and you can appear offline to anyone you choose.

Rift Maps

Find out where
everyone is tonight.

The map browser shows every open space and how many people are in it right now. Choose one and you're there in seconds.

  • Live player counts on every map card, so you can always find a crowd.
  • Favourites keep your regular spots one click away.
  • Map links work in chat and on the web. Click one and AlterLife opens and asks whether to take you there.
  • Teleport controls let you decide who can land next to you.
Factions & friends

Find your people.

Your friends list shows who's online and where they are. Factions give a group a home, with a banner, ranks and a chat channel of its own.

  • Roles and invites so leaders can run the faction the way they want.

The AlterLife launcher

One click and you're in.

The launcher installs the game and keeps it updated. Each update only downloads what changed. It also opens map links you click in your browser.

Questions

Good to know

Is AlterLife adults only?

Yes. You must be 18 or older to sign up and play. Intimate content is always opt-in for both players.

Is AlterLife free?

Yes. Downloading and playing are free. The shop sells clothing, props and other cosmetics if you want to spend on them.

Why does my account need approval?

We check every new sign-up by hand to keep the community safe. You can log in right away, and once your account is approved you can enter the world.

Can I still play in my browser?

AlterLife is moving to the desktop app, which gets new features first and runs better. The browser version is being retired, so we recommend the launcher.

Mac or Linux?

The launcher is Windows-only for now. Other platforms are on our list.

How do I report someone?

Block them from their profile or the friends list, which works across their whole account. Contact support for anything that needs a moderator.
